People always ask me what one item every woman should own. Choosing one isn’t so easy, so I have compiled a few into one outfit instead!
Besides the obvious white tee and black jeans, I think women need to have a statement piece. For me, those would be my patterned wide-leg trousers from Gap. Y’all, these feel like pajamas, they are sooo comfy! The waistband is stretchy, and the pants are a nice breathable fabric. I’ve had these for ages, so I can’t link you to these exact ones, but I found some inexpensive alternatives for you!

How is it already that time of year again? It’s Christmas time, and if you’re anything like me, you have shall we say, delayed doing your Christmas shopping until now, AKA, the last minute. It’s okay, I gotchu! This year I put together a Millennial Gift Guide- a list of the top 10 gifts for that special millennial in your life.
Now, millennials do range from 22-37 years old, but for this post, I’m focusing more on the younger millennials. Those who live in their own place, have a job, but are still a bit short on money and are just starting the journey to adulthood. This means gifts of practicality are going to be a hit.
All the Deets on Anthropologie’s New Plus-Size Line
I have been ‘ooing’ and ‘aweing’ at Anthropologie shops since I was a chubby 12 year old kid. I remember once fitting into one of their larger, stretchier dresses and I was elated. Complete, even. I learned to appreciate their accessories and home goods, since fitting into those clothes was never going to happen for a size 16 with swimmer shoulders.
So when I heard that my favorite store in the world was releasing a curvy collection, I didn’t have words to describe how happy and included I felt. 2019 and Anthropologie finally gets it right – who’da thought? (They need to lower their prices, but that’s for another blog post).
